Reading her book was an experience I wish for everyone to have; Discussing the themes and artwork with those around me has spurred insightful conversations. Therefore, it only felt right to respond to her work through this piece.”

“This is an original character wearing a piece from Proenza Schouler Spring 2021 RTW. I wanted to centralize this character around themes of gender and fashion by rejecting this idea that fashion has ties to gender. Fashion is universal. Fashion is art. Art exists for everyone.”
